Exposed Ductwork Design and Fabrication

Overview

EVS were appointed to deliver the exposed ductwork installation for an all-new 28,000 square foot training centre in London within the Holborn District. Intended to provide a modern twist on the traditional training facility, this project was heavily centred around a sophisticated interior design scheme. In the designer’s own words, “Gone are the days of stuffy, expensive syndicate rooms.” Their aim was to create a collaborate multipurpose training space, where businesses could confidently host professional training sessions in a modern and inviting space. While the ductwork installation was instrumental in facilitating the overall image of the training centre, it had to be highly effective too. Internal air quality is proven to enhance productivity and concentration, therefore an efficient ventilation system was somewhat of a necessity for the nature of this modern training centre.

Scope

EVS carried out the installation of the complete ventilation package including Fan Coil Units, Heat Recovery Units and all primary/secondary exposed ductwork services and associated ventilation grilles. Our secondary ductwork was then thermally insulated and finished with an aluminium cladding by our in-house specialists that produced an amazing finish – far surpassing our clients expectations. Following the success of this project, EVS were later appointed to carry out a refurbishment in one of this end users other Central London locations.
