Flagship Christian Dior, London

Overview

It was a sincere honour to be appointed one of the key mechanical contractors for the all-new Christian Dior flagship store in London. Like fellow couturiers, Chanel, Louis Vuitton and Bulgari, the New Bond Street store was designed by internationally acclaimed architect Peter Marino. Comprising four floors, with three private VIP shopping areas, a dedicated shoe gallery and a demi-measure floor for Dior Homme, this is without doubt the largest and most prestigious of Dior’s UK stores.

Scope

EVS were commissioned to install the complete ductwork ventilation system. Over 2000 metres of bespoke manufactured ductwork was carefully coordinated with the other mechanical and electrical services within the ceiling voids and plant areas to provide fresh and conditioned air throughout the building. Supply and exhaust grilles were concealed within walls and ceilings to complement the interior, yet facilitate the mechanical consultants design. Our team worked very closely with our client to a very tight programme ensuring the ductwork installation was delivered on time and within budget. This was without doubt one of our most prestigious projects in the capital during 2016 and we were immensely proud to play our part and deliver yet another first class project.
